Rudy Lying…
Its so strange to find Rudy turning into one of those political bad guys.. I mean I remember how he started. He was a gangbuster in the old days, a hands on DA who specialized in breaking up the Mafia. And now its like he is part of the biggest Mafia, the US government. It is sad to see such a once strong person be brought into that.
Rudy!! Repent!
He was so solid…
No commentsJudge Eliminates Evidence
A judge has eliminated quite a bit of “evidence” from a lawsuit involving the 9/11 tragedy, specifically in a suit aginst American Airlines.
The people that received calls from people on board the jet that smashed in the Pentagon building will not be able to testify. The judge feels that it is speculative.
Dr. Paul Ambrose, who was an advisor to the Surgeon General, died on September 11th, that fateful year. His parents are suing the airline for damages and the trial is set to go next month.
The Surgeon General will not be allowed to testify as to Dr. Ambrose’s future job prospects. Also eliminated was testimony regarding a noted discovered at the scene of the crash, testimony from a man burned in the Pentagon, or pictures of body parts.
No commentsThis Copperfield Mess
Some woman has made allegations of rape against David Copperfield. She claims it occurred in a warehouse in the Bahamas.
I want to laugh and cry at the same time. What a bunch of Bull!
This guy has made 57 million for the last three years. More than 150 million… SO WHY would he rape anything? Women throw themselves at him, and um, what was she doing in the warehouse with him anyways? He needed to show her a pallet of stuff, and she had to see it? CMON!
This guy lives in a mansion, he is called a “living legend” by the Library of Congress. He taught at the New York University at 16! He has supermodels he sleeps with. In fact he was engaged to Claudia Schiffer.
These allegations are just like the ones that people make against celebrities. Its sad and pathetic. And frankly, how does the FBI raid a warehouse int he Bahamas? Is that a state now?
This guy is at the top of the world, and if you think he is raping women or associating with average women from Seattle, you need a reality check. He has enough money to own people. WAKE UP.
I am glad I am not famous.

Priest Pretending to be Gay
Monsignor Tommaso Stenico, the vatican official currently on suspension during investigation claims he only pretended to be gay.
Why would someone do that? Well, he has an answer for that as well. He says it is research for his work as a psychoanalyst. He says he commonly peruses gay chat rooms, and solicits gay men to try to better understand them.
Understanding will allow him to better have an idea about those who would damage the image of the “one true Church”. (Because a Vatican official soliciting for gay sex is not hard on the already tarnished reputation of Catholics…)
The Vatican is performing an investigation at this time, no official word from them.
No commentsCarter Talks about Torture
Former President Carter spoke with Wolf Blitzer about the state of America and America’s ignoring of civil rights and the use of torture.
Carter says he knows we torture people, in the prison in Gitmo and Abu Gharib. This is defined by the comoon perception and the Geneva convention.
The White House says they do not torture and to hear a former President say that is sad.
It is said by Carter that the US uses very harsh interrogation techniques such as hitting, simulated drowning and frigid temperatures.
Carter also criticized Guiliani for seeking war with Iran.

No commentsCurrier Wins on Appeal
An appeals judge in Massachusetts has decided that a med student at havard should get more time for breaks during a clinical exam to pump breast milk.
Sophie Currier has said she needs an additional hour of breaks during the 2 day test. The judge agreed that the given 45 minutes was not enough for her.
The judge said the limited break forced a hard choice on the student. She could skip things liek using the restroom, and cause heself discomfort by not taking care of things like urination, or manage her body functions and not pump her breasts causing herself pain.
Either decision would put her at a disadvantage.
The school plans to appeal.
Gay Relationships
Two inmates recently paroled are being allowed to continue their relationship of almost 20 years. Normally that wouldnt be allowed because felon on parole cant have contact.
Originally the homosexuals, Daniel Mangini, and Steven Roberts were also held by that rule, because they arent realted or married. The men say they have turned their lives around and are eager to move forward with it. By the old law they would recieve 1 12 hour visit, and just 2 phone calls a week, for the first 6 month period.
On July 31, the Federal courts said that they have the same rights under our constitution ad a straight couple would. They were backed by the ACLU.
Mangini admits they are not role models but believes he has the same rights as non gays.
No commentsNursing Home Verdict Nets 160 Million
I bet the big wigs who scoff the eldery residents in their nursing homes arent smiling now!
Many coporate executives and others figure that the seniors in their homes wont ever get a settlement of any substantial size due to age or preexistiong condition. enter the case of an 81 year old man who was savagely beaten by the vioelent and mentally ill roommate he was assigned by nursing home staff.
In a few weeks the victim recovered, but he never recovered mentally and emotionally. He became a shell of his former self. He was never the same. He died 3 years after the beating.
His family members brougth the suit against the nursing home. They descrive him as vibrant, and someone who enjoyed his family and friends to soemone who became withdrawn, apathetic, and frightened.
The family states that the home knew the other man was unstabe and violent, and he should have been discharged, but discharging that viloent man would mean less money for them. SO he was kept in the facility.
The defense attempted to downplay the injuries but medical records don’t lie. 150 million was in punitive damages alone.
